may be chosen by all students who are not studying comparative literature.

1. International literary transfer

Scope: 15 ECTS

Language: German

In this extension curriculum students acquire knowledge about the transfer of individual literary works, genres or stylistic currents across linguistic and cultural boundaries, i.e. about their distribution to the public, their critical reception, their translation and their impact on authors in other language areas.

In addition, they are dedicated to the study of the translation of literary works into other media such as theatre, radio, television, film or the Internet and to comparisons between literature and other artistic disciplines.

2. Dutch language and culture
